A defense support company in Arlington, VA is hiring a Senior Congressional Support Analyst to provide high-level support to the F-35 JPO community. The role entails analyzing the effects of Congressional bills, coordinating drafting responses to inquiries, and attending Congressional hearings. Candidates should have strong analytical skills, a BA/BS degree, and a minimum of 10 years' experience in a relevant role. Responsibilities

• Provide support for draft and coordination of staffing papers for Congressional inquiries.
• Analyze Congressional bills for their impact on the F-35 program.
• Attend hearings and briefings while providing meeting minutes.

Skills

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office products

Familiarity with congressional hearing procedures

Familiarity with reviewing and interpreting statutory and legislative language

Education

BA/BS degree and 10 years of experience

AA/AS degree and 5 years of experience
