Qualifications

• Lead and deliver complex software builds and releases across environments.
• Experience in large, regulated or federal settings.
• Deep expertise in configuration management and release engineering.
• Broad knowledge of development, QA, systems engineering and DevOps.
• Experience with CM practices (identification, baselining, change control, status accounting).
• Experience with source control systems and branching/merging strategies.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and artifact repositories.
• Scripting for automation (Bash, PowerShell, Python).
• Infrastructure as code and environment management (Ansible, Terraform).
• Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support VA applications and lead migration to the cloud.
• Develop and maintain CM tools for CM identification, control, reporting and delivery of software and COTS products.
• Perform CM and release engineering tasks to ensure compliance and repeatable builds
• Design, develop, automate, and maintain productivity tools for software modeling and development.
• Design and implement build procedures to support product development and use.
• Develop software configuration standards for company-wide use.
• Train developers in CM tools and software quality standards.
• Provide technical guidance and solutions to complex problems.
• Operate autonomously and make sound decisions in fast-paced environments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and mentor junior analysts/engineers.
