Job summary

Columbia Technology Partners, Inc is seeking a Configuration Manager to implement and maintain CM and version control across hardware and software throughout the lifecycle. The role ensures configuration integrity, traceability, and control by managing baselines, enforcing standardized CM processes, and supporting audits and change control activities.

The candidate will develop CM processes, utilize CM tools, and support builds, integration, and releases to maintain configuration integrity

Qualifications

• 6 years of configuration management and version control experience on programs of similar scope and complexity.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline, or four additional CM years in lieu of degree.
• Experience implementing hardware and software CM baselines and version control systems.
• For development programs, at least 1 year using source code control systems such as Git or SVN.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and enforce hardware and software CM policies, processes, and procedures.
• Establish and control CM baselines with accurate versioning and traceability of CIs.
• Manage end-to-end configuration control including change tracking, impact analysis, approvals, and audits.
• Utilize CM tools (e.g., DOORS, Eclipse) to store and track configuration artifacts.
• Support builds, integration, test, and release environments while maintaining CM integrity.
• Develop and document CM processes, including automated build and release procedures.
• Conduct configuration audits, support Change Control Board activities, ensure traceability.
