Job summary

Columbia Technology Partners is seeking a Configuration Manager to implement and maintain configuration management (CM) and version control processes for hardware and software systems throughout the full system lifecycle.

This role ensures configuration integrity, traceability, and control by managing baselines, enforcing standardized CM processes, utilizing configuration tools, and supporting audits and change control activities.

Qualifications

• Six (6) years of CM and version control experience on programs of similar scope.
• Bachelor's degree or four extra CM years in lieu of degree.
• Experience implementing hardware/software configuration baselines and version control.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and enforce CM policies, processes, and procedures.
• Establish and control configuration baselines with traceability of CIs.
• Manage end-to-end configuration control including change approvals and audits.
• Utilize CM tools (DOORS, Eclipse) to store and track configuration artifacts.
• Support build, integration, test, and release environments while maintaining integrity.
• Document CM processes including automated build/release procedures.
• Conduct configuration audits and support CCB activities.
