Job summary

MIKEL seeks a Configuration Management Specialist III to support the AN/BYG-1 ILS team in Middletown, RI. You will develop ILS certifications, create engineering change documentation, and maintain CM data across multiple BYG-1 domains.

The role requires strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a team to meet tight installation schedules. A Bachelor’s degree and DoD logistics experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to analyze data, define problems and recommend actions.
• Team player with timely task completion to support installations.
• High attention to detail to ensure data accuracy.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with Navy DoD logistics and CM processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support AN/BYG-1 CM/ILS tasks and data certification efforts.
• Develop ILS Certifications through data research and Navy Data Environment entries.
• Create Engineering Change Documentation and coordinate with BYG-1 teams.
• Maintain CM/ILS data in CDMD-OA and prepare weekly/bi-weekly reports.
• Conduct CM/ILS audits, attend meetings, and ensure data accuracy.
• Interface with program sponsors and Navy stakeholders as required.
• Assist in CM documentation development and access to required databases.
