Job summary

Solvere Technical Group is seeking a Senior level Configuration Management Specialist for Waterways Commerce Cutter (WCC) for the U.S. Coast Guard's Surface Acquisitions Logistics Center (SALC).

The purpose of this work is to provide detailed and technically correct configuration for US Coast Guard acquisition projects - specifically the Waterways Commerce Cutter (WCC) in accordance with USCG procedures, processes, and specifications.

Qualifications

• At least 10+ years of experience in configuration management for new acquisitions.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Mastery of Microsoft Word and Excel; MILSTDS familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Defines provisions for configuration management planning, identification, improvement, change control, status accounting, and audits.
• Plans, identifies and maintains the original and current configuration of requirements documentation, design documentation, software, and related documentation.
• Regulates the change process and conducts configuration audits. Supports the Quality Assurance process audits.
