Amentum is seeking a Data Center Operations Lead at Fort Meade, MD to supervise configuration management for mission-critical DoD IT environments. You will manage the CMDB in ServiceNow, coordinate change control boards, and ensure ITIL-aligned baselines across physical, virtual, and cloud assets.

The role requires deep CM expertise, DoD readiness, and strong leadership to drive audits, readiness reviews, and cross-team collaboration across multi-environment deployments.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), Systems Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Extensive background establishing and maintaining configuration baselines across hybrid environments (physical, virtual, cloud).
• Strong experience with ServiceNow CMDB and Jira/Confluence for change management.
• Proven ability to lead Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) and communicate baseline risks to leadership.
• Familiarity with ITIL framework, NIST SP 800-53, and DISA STIGs.
• DoD 8140/8570.01-M IAT Level II or equivalent certification.

Aufgaben

• Ensure integrity and reliability of configuration baselines across hybrid environments.
• Manage CMDB in ServiceNow and tracking via Jira/Confluence.
• Define and enforce Configuration Management Plans (CMPs) aligned with ITIL and standards.
• Lead change management processes and CCBs to approve changes and schedule ASIs.
• Audit configurations against NIST controls and DoD requirements.
• Lead configuration audits (PCAs/FCAs) and track drift with automated discovery.
• Collaborate with PMs, Systems Engineers, and cross-functional leads for deployment baselines.
• Develop RACI matrices and train staff on baseline procedures.
