Job summary

VT Group (VTG) is seeking a Lead Configuration Management Specialist to support our customer. You will oversee configuration management planning, change control, status accounting, audits, and ensure accurate identification and baselining of requirements, designs, software and related documentation.

A technical BA/BS with at least 10 years of experience is required, along with a Secret clearance (Top Secret eligible).

Qualifications

• Must have a BA/BS in a technical discipline with at least 10 years of experience.
• Must have and maintain a Secret clearance.
• Eligible for a Top Secret.
• Willing to travel 75% or more.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for configuration management planning.
• Describes provisions for configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting and configuration audits.
• Responsible for configuration planning and maintaining original configuration of requirements, design, software and related docs.
• Regulates the change process to ensure only approved and validated changes are incorporated.
• Tracks problems and changes in product documents and software and reports current configuration.
• Supports audits to verify baselines are met by as-built software and supports software QA process audits.
