Job summary

VTG is seeking a Lead Configuration Management Specialist to support our customer. You will lead CM planning, identify and control changes, and ensure audits and baselines are maintained across complex systems.

You will administer CM activities to prevent failures, maintain documentation accuracy, and coordinate change orders. A BA/BS in a technical field, 10+ years experience, and a Secret clearance are required; Top Secret eligibility and travel up to 75%+ are expected.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in a technical discipline with at least 10 years of experience.
• Must have and maintain a Secret clearance.
• Eligible for a Top Secret.
• Willing to travel 75% or more.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage configuration management planning for complex systems.
• Describe provisions for identification, change control, status accounting and audits.
• Administer CM activities and processes for establishing and managing changes.
• Review and coordinate system documentation to ensure CM adherence and baselines.
• Provide visibility and control of performance, functional and physical attributes over system life cycle.
