Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories seeks a senior leader to head the Configuration & Information Management Excellence Department. You will steward end-to-end CM/IMP services, translate customer requirements into CM/IMP solutions, and drive data-driven decision support across the product lifecycle.

The role requires a DOE Q clearance or equivalent, leadership experience, and expertise with PLM/CM tools. Occasional travel to sponsor engagements and project teams is possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Minimum 8 years of related experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated leadership experience.
• Proven expertise with PLM/CM tools (Aras, PDMLink, Windchill, or comparable).
• Strong knowledge of configuration management standards and information management practices.
• Active DOE Q-level security clearance or DOD equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select, onboard, and develop staff.
• Conduct performance assessments, provide coaching, mentoring, and recognize achievements.
• Create staffing plans that balance current project needs with future capability growth.
• Define and monitor deliverables, schedules, budgets, and staffing for work packages.
• Align activities with overall program plans and Sandia's mission area strategic goals.
