Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories seeks a Senior/Principal Information Management Professional for Defense Programs, onsite. You will steward information flow for high-visibility programs, manage lifecycle from capture to archival, and serve as SME for document markings and collaboration tools like Confluence, SharePoint, and Planner.

Collaborating with sponsors, leads, and partners, you will improve information management processes and secure information sharing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field and 5 years¿ experience or an equivalent combination of directly relevant education and experience.
• Proven experience with collaboration platforms (Confluence, SharePoint, etc.)
• An active L Security Clearance or equivalent and the ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q Clearance (or higher).

Responsibilities

• Lead information-management sync meetings with sponsors, technical leads, and external partners.
• Design, configure, and maintain collaboration sites (Confluence, SharePoint), ensuring proper document marking and CUI handling.
• Develop, document, and enforce processes for data storage, control, and release.
• Track Need-to-Know access lists for programs and coordinate with security on classification decisions.
• Manage document promotion and release workflow in PDMLink; liaise with Technical Writers for content creation and review.
• Conduct data transfers for unclassified and classified data.
• Produce configuration status reports, data packages, and objective quality evidence for program reviews and audits.
• Provide training and guidance on CM and IMP policies, tools, and best practices.
