Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Configuration Management professional to support the ACE team. You will manage product configuration data, review changes, and lead change meetings to ensure accuracy and timely delivery of artifacts across the engine product lifecycle.

The role emphasizes quality and data integrity in a fast-paced aerospace setting, with emphasis on Windchill/Creo and PLM tools, and collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• AA/AS or BA/BS in a related technical or liberal arts discipline.
• 6+ years of direct product configuration management experience.
• 4+ years of experience working in a highly regulated environment (aerospace, nuclear, government, medical device, etc.).
• Experience working with software related to configuration management of complex product.
• Working knowledge of configuration management principles and practices.
• Familiar with product lifecycle management (PLM) and/or data management tools.
• Possess high attention to detail and strong organizational/coordination skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience using Windchill and Creo or other PLM/CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with product teams to provide timely configuration and data management services.
• Facilitate development and improvement of configuration management processes with an Operations focus.
• Review proposed configuration changes for impact on the product and system.
• Enforce configuration and data management rules to meet customer requirements.
• Lead or support configuration change meetings to document risks and impacts.
• Identify and implement system and process improvements to increase efficiency and quality.
• Establish a world-class Configuration Management structure and organization.
