Job summary

Shield AI seeks a Configuration and Change Control Manager to own configuration discipline for the V-BAT fleet, including aircraft, payloads, software, and ground systems. You will ensure accurate, traceable configurations and controlled deployment of changes across assets and customers.

In this senior IC role, you will partner with Fleet Support, Sustainment Engineering, Product Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality to drive change control, maintain baselines, and support release readiness,

Qualifications

• 6+ years in configuration management, change control, or related fields.
• Experience with engineering change processes and release control.
• Strong knowledge of baselines, revision control, serial-number traceability.
• Experience coordinating with multiple teams to control fielded configurations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to work independently as a senior IC.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the V-BAT configuration baseline for aircraft and assets.
• Track serial numbers, revisions, and configurations; manage baselines.
• Lead change control for fielded systems; ensure traceability of changes.
• Support ECRs/ECNs, release readiness, and retrofit planning.
• Ensure fixes and updates tie to correct assets and customers.
• Maintain configuration records across deployed assets and spares.
• Coordinate with Fleet Support, Manufacturing, Quality, and others.
• Support release readiness reviews for updates.
• Escalate risks affecting fleet readiness and support.
