Shield AI seeks an exceptional Technical Program Manager to lead the integration of the Hivemind autonomy stack onto V-BAT. Embedded in the Aircraft division, you coordinate aircraft engineering and autonomy software to deliver mission-ready autonomous systems.

In Arlington, VA and San Diego, CA, you will align hardware, software, and operations across distributed teams, drive schedules, budgets, and risk management while maintaining high technical standards.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a minimum of 10 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree.
• Or 9 years and a Master’s degree; or 7 years with a PhD; or equivalent work experience.
• Experience leading complex cross-functional engineering programs from concept through production.

Responsibilities

• Lead Aircraft & Autonomy Integration Programs with Shield AI’s Hivemind onto V-BAT.
• Drive Hardware & Software Alignment between engineering teams and flight tests.
• Establish objectives linked to mission impact, customer success, and financial outcomes.
• Own integrated project plans: scope, schedules, milestones, budgets, resources.
• Facilitate decision-making across cross-functional teams and manage risks.
• Coordinate system integration activities across labs, ground, and flight tests.
• Deliver timely program updates and ensure integration readiness for deployment.
• Support growth initiatives including proposals, RFIs, and strategic engagements.
