The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey is seeking a Senior Confidential Investigator to join the Office of Inspector General. This role conducts highly confidential investigations into Port Authority employees and related parties, ensuring integrity across programs and operations.

Responsibilities include planning investigations, analyzing records, coordinating with federal, state, and local law enforcement, and maintaining strict confidentiality.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of investigative experience including records review, witness interviews, and reports.
• Experience working with prosecutorial and law enforcement agencies; ability to mediate inter-agency issues.
• Demonstrated ethics and sound judgment; discretion with confidential matters.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; take direction.

Responsabilités

• Conduct highly confidential and sensitive investigations.
• Prepare investigative plans outlining steps to complete an investigation.
• Analyze agency/contractor records, procedures, activities, and other matters.
• Collaborate with federal, state, and city investigators and law enforcement.
• Maintain absolute confidentiality of information related to investigations.
