Job summary

The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey is seeking a Senior Confidential Investigator to lead highly confidential investigations relating to agency employees and contractors. The role reports to the Supervising Confidential Investigator and emphasizes integrity, discretion, and cross-agency collaboration.

Ideal candidates will have extensive investigative experience, strong ethics, and the ability to work independently or within a team.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of investigation experience.
• Experience with prosecutorial and law enforcement agencies.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct highly confidential and sensitive investigations
• Prepare investigative plans outlining necessary steps required to complete an investigation
• Analyze/evaluate agency/contractor records, procedures, activities, and other matters as appropriate
• Collaborate with federal, state, and city investigators and law enforcement agencies
• Maintain high integrity and the absolute confidentiality of information relating to issues concerning the Office of Investigations.
