Job summary

Garney in Englewood, CO seeks a Superintendent to lead daily self-perform concrete operations on water and wastewater treatment plant projects. You will supervise crews, coordinate manpower, equipment, and schedules to keep projects on track.

You will ensure safety, quality, and on-time completion, mentor field teams, and collaborate with project managers, engineers, inspectors, and other trades. Willingness to travel as needed is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 5+ years of concrete construction experience with leadership as Foreman or Superintendent.
• Experience leading self-perform structural concrete crews on heavy civil or industrial projects.
• Water/wastewater treatment plant experience preferred.
• Ability to read construction drawings and manage project schedules.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork; willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily self-perform concrete operations on water and wastewater treatment plant projects.
• Supervise crews performing structural concrete work, including foundations, walls, slabs, tanks, and equipment pads.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, and schedules to keep projects on track.
• Ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, inspectors, and other trades to resolve field challenges.
• Mentor and develop field crews while promoting a strong safety culture.
• Negotiate and purchase materials
• Maintain as-built documents
• Act as owner and architect/engineer contact
• Verify and provide inventory analysis
• Survey construction job site
