Job summary

AEC Alliance in Charlotte, NC, seeks an experienced Concrete Superintendent to lead field operations on large commercial, industrial and warehouse projects. You will oversee tilt‑wall construction, manage subcontractors, and coordinate with project managers, engineers and owners to keep schedules and safety on track.

The role requires 7+ years as a superintendent on concrete-heavy projects, tilt‑wall/tilt‑up experience, and OSHA 30 certification.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of superintendent experience on commercial/construction projects with a strong concrete background.
• Direct hands-on experience with tilt‑wall/tilt‑up construction.
• Background in industrial, warehouse, and manufacturing facility projects.
• Strong understanding of concrete means and methods, formwork, and sequencing.
• Proven ability to manage multiple trade partners and keep large projects on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field operations for concrete scopes on industrial, warehouse, and manufacturing projects, including tilt‑wall panel construction from formwork through erection.
• Manage subcontractor crews, sequencing, and quality control across foundations, slabs, tilt‑up panels, and structural concrete.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and owners to keep schedules and budgets on track.
• Enforce site safety standards and ensure OSHA/compliance with company protocols.
• Read and interpret structural drawings, concrete specs, and mix designs.
• Lead daily site coordination, progress meetings, and manpower planning.
• Troubleshoot field issues and drive timely solutions to keep projects moving.

A well-established general contractor with a strong industrial and manufacturing construction portfolio is seeking an experienced Concrete Superintendent to lead field operations on large-scale commercial, industrial and warehouse projects in the Charlotte market. This role is ideal for a hands‑on leader with deep concrete expertise, including tilt‑wall construction, who thrives managing complex sitework and structural concrete scopes from the ground up.

What You'll Do

• Oversee all field operations for concrete scopes on industrial, warehouse, and manufacturing projects, including tilt‑wall panel construction from formwork through erection
• Manage subcontractor crews, sequencing, and quality control across foundations, slabs, tilt‑up panels, and structural concrete
• Coordinate closely with project managers, engineers, and owners to keep schedules and budgets on track
• Enforce jobsite safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA and company protocols
• Read and interpret structural drawings, concrete specs, and mix designs
• Lead daily site coordination, progress meetings, and manpower planning
• Troubleshoot field issues in real time and drive solutions that keep projects moving
