Job summary

Carboline, a St. Louis-based coatings manufacturer with global reach, seeks a Concrete Protection Specialist to drive growth across concrete repair, rehabilitation, and protective lining platforms.

You will serve as a trusted SME, partnering with sales, engineers, and customers to evaluate opportunities, develop solutions, and support project execution across direct and indirect channels. Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in concrete markets, familiarity with AMPP/ICRI/ASTM standards, and

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in concrete repair, protective coatings, resinous flooring, waterproofing, structural rehabilitation, or related markets.
• Strong knowledge of concrete deterioration mechanisms, repair methodologies, and surface preparation practices.
• Familiarity with AMPP, ICRI, and ASTM standards and industry best practices.
• Hands-on experience with repair mortars, epoxies, polyurethane, and protective lining technologies.
• Knowledge of water and wastewater infrastructure and protective lining systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support and expand business development efforts within concrete repair, rehabilitation, containment, lining, and resinous flooring markets.
• Partner with sales teams and distribution channels to identify, develop, and win project opportunities.
• Build relationships with engineers, consultants, contractors, and asset owners to drive specifications.
• Provide expert technical guidance on concrete evaluation, surface preparation, and system selection.
• Influence project specifications through presentations and engineering collaboration.
• Assist with contractor training, field support, and troubleshooting on key projects.
• Deliver technical presentations and educational sessions to internal and external audiences.
• Utilize CRM tools to track opportunities and support strategic account planning.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Marketing, Technical Service, and Sales to advance growth opportunities.
• Champion Carboline's safety and quality standards.
