Job summary

Navigate Search seeks an experienced Project Manager for large-scale concrete projects in the Nashville area. You will own projects from preconstruction to closeout, coordinating with clients, field teams, subs, and vendors to deliver on-time, within budget, and to contract standards.

Candidates should have 5+ years in PM/estimating, solid self-perform/concrete background, and a bachelor’s degree in construction-related field.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in construction PM and/or estimating.
• Experience with a self-performing GC or concrete contractor.
• Concrete construction experience required.
• Read and interpret drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documents.
• Bachelor's degree in CM, Engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage concrete construction projects from preconstruction through final closeout.
• Prepare estimates, takeoffs, budgets, and proposals.
• Identify and quantify concrete scope and develop project execution strategies.
• Review contracts, establish project budgets, cost codes, and schedules.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost forecasts.
• Coordinate with field operations to ensure projects are properly staffed, scheduled, and executed.
• Monitor labor, material, equipment, and production costs against project budgets.
• Review daily job cost reports and take corrective action when necessary.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, purchase orders, change orders, and other project documentation.
• Develop and negotiate change orders based on project scope and customer requirements.
• Communicate project status, financial performance, schedule updates, and potential issues to leadership and clients.
• Work closely with Project Leads, Superintendents, estimators, and field personnel to ensure project goals are met.
• Maintain strong relationships with owners, general contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Identify project risks, solutions, and opportunities throughout the construction process.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and according to contract requirements.
• Lead the project closeout process, including final documentation, punch list, and financial reconciliation.
