Qualifications

• 5+ years in concrete production or related construction roles.
• 3+ years supervisory/management experience.
• Concrete batch plant experience as a quality inspector or operator/manager.
• Knowledge of concrete batching operations and QA procedures.
• Familiarity with ACI, ASTM, DOT standards.
• Experience with computerized batch control systems.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced construction with varying schedules.
• Regular attendance and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Manage plant operations including production schedules, equipment utilization, and staffing.
• Ensure quality control by verifying concrete mixes meet specs.
• Coordinate with dispatchers, drivers, project teams, and customers to meet schedules.
• Supervise batch operators, quality technicians, mechanics, and truck drivers.
• Monitor inventory of cement, aggregates, admixtures, fly ash, slag, and other materials.
• Oversee equipment maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Maintain safety compliance with OSHA regulations and environmental requirements.
• Track production costs and budgets and seek efficiency improvements.
