Job summary

Jobot seeks a Concrete (Structural) Foreman for Quad Cities construction projects. You will lead on-site crews, read drawings, plan pours, and ensure safety and quality on every pour.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in structural concrete and at least 2 years in a foreman role, with strong leadership and communication skills. This full-time position offers exposure to major infrastructure projects and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in structural concrete construction, with at least 2 years in a foreman or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of formwork systems, post-tension, rebar placement, and concrete finishing techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and specifications.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a crew.
• Solid understanding of construction safety standards and OSHA requirements.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience on industrial, commercial, or heavy civil projects is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise concrete crews on structural construction projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to specification
• Read and interpret structural drawings, blueprints, and project specifications to direct daily field activities
• Plan and coordinate concrete pours, formwork, reinforcing steel placement, and finishing operations
• Monitor and enforce safety protocols and company standards on site at all times
• Coordinate with Project Managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain project momentum
• Track crew productivity, material usage, and daily progress; report updates and flag issues early
• Mentor and develop craft workers, fostering a culture of quality and accountability on the job site
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and inspect completed work prior to inspection or pour
