Job summary

AIS Infrastructure is seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher for large heavy civil projects in the Atlanta area. You will ensure proper placement, leveling, finishing, and curing of concrete while adhering to safety standards and project specifications.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in heavy civil or roadway concrete, 3+ years finishing, and the ability to read plans and work with foremen and carpenters on active sites.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in heavy civil, roadway, or structural concrete construction.
• At least 3 years of experience with concrete finishing.
• Ability to read, interpret, and execute plans, specifications, and layout with direction from Foremen and Superintendents.
• Reliable transportation and ability to work on active construction sites.
• Experience working on DOT or infrastructure projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Place, level, and finish concrete surfaces.
• Operate finishing tools including screeds, floats, and trowels.
• Ensure proper curing and surface finish standards.
• Work closely with the foreman and carpenters during placement operations.
