Job summary

Zachry Construction Corporation is seeking experienced Concrete Finishers to support civil and heavy highway projects across the region. You will smooth and finish freshly poured concrete on roadways and structures using floats, trowels, and screeds, ensuring texture and finish meet specifications.

The role requires at least 5 years of concrete finishing on civil projects, physical stamina, and flexibility to work day or night shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of concrete finishing experience on civil, highway, or bridge projects.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools used in finishing concrete.
• Ability to finish concrete to specified textures and depths.
• Knowledge of setting and aligning metal and wooden forms.

Responsibilities

• Smooth and finish freshly poured concrete on highways and structures using hand/power tools.
• Spread concrete to specified depth and ensure proper consistency.
• Set and align prefabricated forms to required grades.
• Monitor quality and finish of completed concrete work.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
