Qualifications

• 5+ years of concrete finishing experience on civil, highway, or bridge construction projects.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools such as floats, trowels, and screeds.
• Physically capable of bending, kneeling, or standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Smooth and finish freshly poured concrete on highways and other structures using hand or power tools.
• Spread concrete to specified depth and maintain proper consistency.
• Set prefabricated metal and wooden forms to specified grades and alignments.
• Monitor quality, finish, and texture of completed concrete work.
• Follow safety rules and perform additional duties as directed by the supervisor.
