Lithko Contracting, LLC. in Richmond, VA, seeks a Senior Estimator in Commercial Concrete to join our team. You will support the Chief Estimator in all aspects of estimating for commercial and industrial projects.

Responsibilities include detailed take-offs, pricing, bid preparation, and coordinating with operations to ensure accurate, competitive bids and successful project execution. A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and a degree are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural concrete estimating for large-scale self-perform General Contractors or concrete contractors.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience with commercial and industrial projects valued over $1 million.
• Solid understanding of construction principles and negotiated vs hard bid processes.

Responsabilités

• Estimate Setup: Establish estimates with alternates, general conditions, pricing, labor production, and wage rates according to bid strategy.
• Conceptual Estimating: Develop conceptual estimates from limited information with appropriate alternates and pricing.
• Detailed Take-Offs: Perform detailed take-offs for concrete scope items.
• Proposal Preparation: Create comprehensive customer proposals with detailed bid pricing.
• Project Information Management: Deliver accurate project information during turnover and planning phases.
• Team Support: Guide estimators and coordinators in tasks and processes to ensure estimate accuracy.
• Operations Coordination: Ensure operations receives correct information for project execution.
