Job summary

Ultra Intelligence & Communications is seeking a full-time COMSEC Operator in Warrenton, VA to manage high-assurance key distribution and cryptographic support for defense communications. You will join a on-site team, perform Tier 3 equipment support, and travel about 5% for meetings and training.

The role requires TS/SCI with polygraph, strong communication, and the ability to work in a small team environment. Non-standard hours may be required to support mission-critical needs.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
• Excellent communication and strong interpersonal/customer service skills.
• Strong organizational and documentation experience.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic and ability to lead problem resolution.
• Willing to lead and perform as a self-starter.
• Able to integrate into a small team and multi-task for daily mission success.

Responsibilities

• Day to day operations for supporting High Assurance COMSEC key distribution and full life cycle management of electronic key requirements.
• Provide cryptographic support of communication networks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems to offsite locations related to equipment and electronic key.
• Daily use of Tier 2 distribution systems including CARDS and KMI.
• Monitor COMSEC requests and take action to address issues.
• Update and maintain COMSEC equipment (Ste, Viper, KG-240/250, RASKL KIK-30, SDS KIK-20, SKL AN/PYQ-10).
• Support monthly COMSEC training and facility tours.
• Orient new employees on customer policies and processes.
• Provide support to customer vendors and submit metrics as required.
• Support system testing of new capabilities as requested.
