Imagry seeks a Senior Deep Learning Engineer to advance perception algorithms for autonomous driving. You will join the R&D team in San Jose, collaborating with engineers, drivers, and test teams to push deep-vision models from research to road deployment.

The role requires 3+ years of DL experience, CV expertise, and strong Python/PyTorch skills. On-site work in San Jose, reporting to the Perception Team Leader, with opportunities to shape algorithms and product outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience in developing deep learning algorithms.
• Experience in computer vision algorithms including classification, object detection, or segmentation.
• Strong fundamentals in deep learning and mathematics.
• Proficiency in Python; PyTorch expertise.
• English written and spoken proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with SJ site Deep Learning Engineers, Safety Drivers & Test Engineers.
• Work with cross-functional teams across the company in a global, multi-time-zone environment.
• Supervise data pipelines from collection through annotation to model training.
• Design and optimize deep neural networks with innovative feature engineering.
• Take end-to-end responsibility for medium to long-term projects.
• Devise and implement performance metrics.
• Communicate, present, and visualize results.
• Align algorithms with product needs.
