Job summary

JT4, LLC is seeking a Computer Scientist III to provide software and systems engineering services within a team. The role involves advising managers, interacting with customers, and delivering complex design and test activities. The candidate should have strong programming skills, experience with lifecycle processes, and the ability to obtain security clearance.

U.S. citizenship is required, with a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an associated discipline with at least 4 years of related experience.
• Master’s degree in an associated discipline with at least 2 years of related experience.
• PhD in an associated discipline.
• CompTIA Security Plus Certification required or must be obtained within six months of hire.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance; valid state driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Advise team and project managers on technical problems.
• Interact with customers and project managers regularly.
• Work independently on high-complexity projects.
• Develop design for system/software and documentation.
• Plan and execute unit, integration, and system testing.
• Provide guidance to subordinate technical staff.
• Establish positive customer relations.
• May support new business pursuits and proposals.
