Job summary

Invictus International Consulting, LLC is seeking a Senior Computer Scientist to lead advanced analytics efforts in Washington, DC. The role requires a TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph capability and involves developing ML and data mining algorithms for national security investigations.

Responsibilities include guiding distributed systems design, cloud-native architectures, and microservices while mentoring junior developers and shaping technical direction within complex government projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred, with eight (8) years of relevant experience.
Current active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI polygraph.
Advanced proficiency in multiple programming languages, frameworks, and software paradigms.
Expertise in distributed systems design, cloud-native architectures, and microservices.
Experience leading software development teams or managing complex system development efforts.
Proficiency with DevSecOps practices and end-to-end CI/CD pipeline management.
Experience optimizing system performance, scalability, and reliability.
Deep understanding of DOD and federal cybersecurity and compliance frameworks.
Demonstrated ability to translate complex intelligence requirements into technical capabilities.
Experience mentoring junior developers and providing technical direction.

Responsibilities

Employs mathematics, statics, information science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, network science, probability modeling, data mining, data engineering, data warehousing, data compression, data protection, and/or scientific techniques to correlate complex findings into products.
Develops and utilizes machine learning and data mining and prediction algorithms based on open-source capabilities.
Integrates or codes algorithms to support Government intelligence search and discovery missions.
Makes best-practice recommendations on managing data within hardware, software, storage and bandwidth constraints.
Employs data science techniques to support predictive analysis, social media and crowd-source data analytics, wargaming, and strategy development.
Prepares products to describe and document findings and activities.
