Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in data science, CS, statistics, math, engineering, or related field
• 3+ years of Data Scientist experience supporting analytics, software, or mission-focused systems
• Experience applying ML, data mining, and statistical methods to real-world data
• Proficiency in Python, R, or Scala
• Experience building data models and analytics integrated into production software
• Experience with DoD, Intelligence Community, or federal programs
• Familiarity with Tableau or Power BI for data visualization
• Strong SQL with PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch
• Working knowledge of cloud-based data environments
• Active TS/SCI clearance

Responsibilities

• Conduct data analysis, data engineering, data mining, and exploratory/predictive analyses
• Apply analytical methods to large, complex datasets
• Develop written, visual, and verbal data products
• Design and implement relational and non-relational data storage
• Develop scripts to cleanse, transform, and prepare data for operational use
• Create AI/ML-based tools to improve analysis and automate processes
• Integrate AI capabilities into software-development apps
• Develop and evaluate data models for production systems
• Assess and communicate risks of AI/ML implementations
• Support data visualization and reporting
