Job summary

The Rhode Island Department of Labor And Training seeks a Senior Computer Operator for the Warwick mail center. You will assist in supervising the shift, verify input/output, explain procedures to operators, read error messages, and coordinate with programmers when needed.

This full-time, 35-hour weekly role runs Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–4:00 PM. Qualifications include high school graduation with computer operations coursework and prior computer operator experience.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a computer operator or similar role.
  • Ability to explain operating procedures and interpret error messages.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and operate mailroom equipment.

Must be able to lift inventory boxes and cases (@60lbs).
