ServiceNow in Santa Clara is hiring across multiple engineering levels for the Compute Engineering organization, building the scheduling, capacity, and performance systems that run our platform across private and public cloud.

Join a team that writes declarative infrastructure, improves the compute scheduler, and develops tools for capacity data collection and forecasting, collaborating with SRE, networking, and cloud teams to drive reliability and scale.

Qualifications

• Experience integrating AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem solving.
• 5+ years of software engineering, cloud, or infra automation with a Bachelor's; or 3+ years with a Master's; or PhD.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or Java.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Comfort with virtualization and cloud infra across private/public clouds (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Understanding of networking, storage, load balancers, DNS/NTP/HTTP.

Responsabilités

• Write and maintain declarative infrastructure for compute at scale.
• Improve compute scheduler and resource-management components.
• Build tools for capacity data collection, forecasting and reporting.
• Write performance and load tests and detect regressions.
• Collaborate with networking, orchestration, and SRE teams.
• Participate in design reviews and on-call rotations.
• Use AI to speed up development and optimize capacity or placement.
