Job summary

AbbVie is seeking an accomplished scientific leader in AI-enabled computational biology to build next-generation immunogenicity capabilities across biologics discovery and development. Qualifications

• Ph.D. in a related field with typically 8+ years of work experience.
• Demonstrated discipline expertise in computational protein science, biologics discovery or development, AI/ML, and predictive modeling.
• Proven ability to define scientific strategy, lead complex multidisciplinary programs, and deliver innovative computational capabilities with measurable impact.
• Demonstrated people-management experience and ability to coach and develop teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of predictive models for preclinical and clinical immunogenicity risk assessment.
• Integrate ADA, PK/PD, HLA, sequence, structure, developability, assay, and patient data using ML/DL approaches.
• Apply protein language models, foundation models, transformers, generative AI, and physics-informed modeling to identify immunogenicity drivers and design opportunities.
• Build and guide scalable data pipelines and collaborative frameworks across discovery, nonclinical, and clinical development.
