Qualifications

• PhD in computational biology, bioinformatics, genomics, human genetics, systems biology, bioengineering, or related field with 3+ years post-doctoral or industry experience; or Master’s with 8+ years in industry.
• Demonstrated excellence in analysis, visualization, and interpretation of human genetics, genomic, and NGS data.
• Experience applying computational methods and bioinformatics tools to large-scale biological datasets.
• Proficiency in programming (R, Python), Unix/Linux environments, and HPC systems.
• Solid foundation in statistics and genetics, including human genetic variation in disease biology.

Responsibilities

• Partner with cross-functional project teams to identify scientific questions addressable by human genetics and genomics.
• Design, execute, and interpret genetic, genomic, and multi-omic studies for target discovery and biomarker development.
• Apply computational and statistical approaches to analyze complex datasets and generate actionable insights.
• Own analyses from question to recommendation and communicate conclusions clearly to scientific audiences.
• Help shape genomics strategies across discovery programs and ensure rigorous study design and interpretation.
• Collaborate with computational and experimental scientists to leverage ML/AI for discovery and data interpretation.
• Contribute to publications, internal reports, and regulatory submissions.
