Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine in Cambridge, MA seeks a Senior Scientist, Computational Biology- Oncology Translational Research to lead analysis and integration of multimodal omics and clinical data. You will apply AI-enabled bioinformatics and rigorous statistics to inform oncology development and work with Translational Research Leaders and Clinical Development teams.

Qualifications

• PhD in bioinformatics, computational biology, biostatistics, genomics, data science, or related field with 1–3 years of pharma/biotech experience.
• Advanced proficiency in R; experience with Python, Linux/Unix, shell scripting, version control, and reproducible analysis of high-throughput sequencing and multimodal omics data.
• Strong oncology translational or clinical-development experience with cancer biology knowledge.
• Strong statistical and ML experience including regression, survival analysis, and various learning methods.

Responsibilities

• Analyze multimodal oncology biomarker data and clinical outcomes with rigorous methods.
• Integrate molecular, pathological, and clinical data to identify biomarkers.
• Support translational strategies and trial-design knowledge.
• Use AI-enabled tools responsibly; ensure outputs are validated, traceable and reproducible.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to publications and presentations.
