Job summary

E2 Consulting Engineers, LP is seeking an experienced mechanical engineer to support a major compressor station modernization project within a complex gas facility environment. You will engage in engineering execution, drawing coordination, constructability reviews, and multidisciplinary project support for upgrades and modernization efforts.

Qualifications

• BS/MS Mechanical Engineering Degree required.
• 6+ years of engineering experience supporting compressor stations, gas facilities, industrial plants, or other complex infrastructure projects.
• Experience supporting brownfield or facility modernization projects preferred.
• Strong understanding of multidisciplinary drawing packages and engineering coordination.
• Experience with AutoCAD and SAP Modules required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct engineering and project execution activities for compressor station modernization projects.
• Review and coordinate engineering drawing packages including P&IDs, mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation, and civil drawings.
• Conduct drawing quality reviews, design coordination, and resolution of field/design conflicts.
• Work with multidisciplinary engineering teams through design development, IFC package support, and construction coordination.
• Coordinate with project managers, designers, field teams, contractors, and client stakeholders.
• Resolve issue resolution associated with legacy drawings, facility tie-ins, and evolving design packages.
• Participate in constructability reviews, site walks, and technical discussions.
• Assist with facility modernization efforts involving compressors, piping systems, ancillary equipment, and industrial infrastructure.
