Capital One is seeking a Compliance Testing Sr. Manager to lead a multi-tier testing team responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance across enterprise processes.

You will pilot new testing methodologies, work with data teams to refine testing innovations, and align resources to deliver timely, high-value results. The role requires deep regulatory knowledge, strong leadership, and the ability to communicate findings to executives.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of experience at a financial institution in Compliance Testing, Risk Management, Compliance Monitoring, or Audit.
• At least 5 years of people management experience or leading teams or projects.
• Master’s degree or Juris Doctorate degree.
• Experience leading a multi-team organization.
• Extensive knowledge of consumer regulations and related business processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to produce senior-level reports.
• Compliance certifications (e.g., CRCM) preferred.
• Experience working with analytics, product and technology teams to drive testing initiatives.
• Experience scripting in Python and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-tier Compliance Testing Team and pilot new testing methodologies.
• Develop, manage and execute the Compliance Testing calendars, data scripts, and methodologies.
• Align resources to ensure timely and accurate test execution with proper tools and training.
• Advance testing breadth through technology solutions and process reviews.
• Engage with Compliance Advisors, Test Leads, Data Teams and business areas.
• Elevate substantive issues to senior management and communicate test results.
