Job summary

PG&E in Oakland area is seeking an Expert CMO Compliance & Risk Consultant to facilitate responses and approvals from multiple functions for complex regulatory inquiries. You will lead collaboration across teams to ensure accurate, timely data submissions and adherence to compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Job-related experience, 7 years.
• 4+ years' experience managing compliance/risk programs or controls.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Law, or Business Administration.
• PE-Professional Engineer license.
• PMP certification.
• CISSP certification.
• CIA certification.
• CCEP certification.
• LPEC certification.
• Electrical Engineering with substation, distribution, or transmission experience.
• Advanced knowledge of regulatory policy and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Provides expertise to lead and facilitate responses to regulatory data requests, investigations, audits, and other inquiries.
• Acts as consultant to internal and/or external groups in order to ensure containment and countermeasures in a compliance context are applied accordingly and promotes knowledge of compliance management best practices.
• Performs compliance discovery/priories research to determine previous responses to the same subject, trends, and quantifiable risks.
• Establishes, updates, and maintains a case hub filing and recordkeeping of all cases, meetings, evidence, materials, correspondence, and documents.
• Regularly updates leadership on changes to requirements/standards, metrics, program effectiveness, and opportunities for improvement
• Challenges responses to inquiries, and identifies, documents, and validates commitments during response development and approvals.
• Provides expertise and coaching related to case management, response quality, and timelines related to compliance deliverables.
• May act as team lead but does not have any direct reports.
