Job summary

PG&E is seeking an Expert Compliance and Risk Consultant to advance the company’s Compliance Maturity Model. You will document and test controls, evaluate deficiencies, and present findings with recommendations to management.

You’ll collaborate with engineers, operations, and SMEs to strengthen governance, controls, and evidence capture across Electric Risk & Compliance. The role requires strategic advisory support, development of guidance documents, and performance metrics to align with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent or seven years of relevant experience required.
• Seven years of relevant working experience in risk/compliance or related field preferred.
• Master's degree in engineering, economics, business administration or related field highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic guidance to strengthen and mature the compliance program.
• Lead or support compliance monitoring, testing, and evidence collection.
• Develop tools and processes to support compliance maturity and reporting.
• Deliver executive-ready reports on maturity performance, risks, and opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to implement governance models.

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent
