Job summary

PG&E is seeking a Senior Compliance and Risk Consultant to provide flexible support across data-driven compliance and quality control. The role is headquartered in the Bay Area service territory with a hybrid schedule (3 days in office per week, Oakland preferred).

The candidate will lead data response quality reviews, develop quality control processes, and support internal/external stakeholders. A strong background in analytics, regulatory policy, and data governance is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in compliance/risk fields.
• Knowledge of electrical engineering with substation, distribution, or transmission experience.
• Familiarity with CPUC/OEIS requirements and PG&E compliance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve data responses for accuracy, consistency, tone, and confidentiality.
• Develop and implement quality control checklists to improve processes.
• Research prior responses, identify gaps, and propose solutions for efficiency and quality.
• Create reports, perform ad-hoc analysis, and present findings to support decisions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure high-quality deliverables and continuous improvement.
• Perform priors analysis to validate historical responses for consistency.
• Manage intake, logging, assignment, and tracking of data requests for accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain and update databases and perform quality checks.
