Job summary

Christian Financial Credit Union is seeking a Compliance Officer to serve as the subject matter expert on compliance matters, developing and maintaining programs to align with state and federal laws. You will work with departments to implement changes, coordinate training, and oversee audits with external auditors and examiners.

The role requires experience in financial compliance, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to advise management on policy updates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field required.
• 3+ years of compliance experience in a financial institution of comparable asset size.
• CUCE designation or ability to obtain within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and maintains the Credit Union’s Compliance Program.
• Stays informed of Federal and State laws and regulations and the changing compliance landscape.
• Evaluates policies, procedures, products, and services to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Reviews and maintains regulatory compliance related policies and procedures.
• Advises management and provides recommendations for change where appropriate.
• Oversees training initiatives related to compliance and maintains a training calendar.
• Interfaces with external auditors and state examiners during audits and monitors corrective actions.
• Complies with BSA/AML requirements and internal controls.
