Job summary

Dover Precision Components in Wisconsin is seeking a Senior Compliance professional to execute key elements of DPC’s ethics and compliance program. You will manage US export controls, jurisdiction & classification analyses, and export license applications, while developing training and job aids for stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years in ethics/compliance, experience as Empowered Official under ITAR, and fluency in English; experience with multinational manufacturing, and willingness

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience in ethics and/or compliance (or related job function).
  • Experience with US Jurisdiction & Classification processes.
  • Authorization to access U-NNPI (Unclassified Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information).
  • Fluency in English and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage creation, deployment, and continuous improvement of areas of DPC’s global ethics & compliance program.
  • Lead US export compliance activities (EAR, ITAR) and jurisdiction/classification analyses.
  • Manage export license applications and training materials for stakeholders.
  • Assist with risk assessments, investigations, and KPI tracking.

We are Dover Precision Components, #LifeAtDPCSummary:The successful candidate, reporting to the Senior Director of Compliance, will assume an individual contributor role responsible for executing key elements of DPC’s ethics and compliance program.Responsibilities:Manage the creation, deployment, and continuous improvement of certain areas of DPC’s global ethics & compliance program including:US export compliance (e.g., Export Administration Regulations, International Traffic in Arms Regulations)Jurisdiction & Classification analysisExport licensing requirements analysisExport license applications (e.g., agreements, exceptions, exemptions, licenses)Create and deploy training and job aids to support functional stakeholders throughout the business. Assist with company risk assessments and provide project management leadership for mitigation plans. Lead and/or assist with investigations of compliance matters. Conduct self-assessments to gauge whether controls have been successfully implemented across company sites. Develop and track key performance indicators. Assist with process transition and training for newly acquired companies. Support other elements of DPC’s ethics & compliance program including:Anti-bribery & anti-corruption (ABAC)Anti-money laundering (AML)Business ethicsCustoms and Border Protection (CBP) regulationsHarmonized System (HS) and Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) classificationsOffice of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) regulationsThird party due diligenceMinimum required qualifications:University degree from an accredited four-year institution12+ years of experience in ethics and/or compliance (or related job function)Significant experience with US Jurisdiction & Classification processesAuthorization to access Unclassified Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information (U-NNPI)Fluency in English and excellent communication skills.The ideal candidate possesses the following experience, skills, and abilities:Direct or indirect experience supporting the responsibilities listed aboveExperience as an Empowered Official under the International Traffic in Arms RegulationsExperience working within a multinational manufacturing companyDesirable would be a fluency in either Mandarin OR Spanish language on to support Asian and South American operations.Experience working with manufacturing facilities and/or customers in China, the United Kingdom, or the United StatesUnderstanding of the regulatory environment in China, the United Kingdom, or the United StatesThis position is eligible to earn a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable bonus plan.We consider several job-related, non-discriminatory factors when determining the pay rate for a position, including, but not limited to, the position’s responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, a candidate’s education/training, the position’s location, and the key skills needed for the position.
