Job summary

Dover Precision Components in Rock Island, IL, is hiring a CNC Machinist to produce parts on a CNC lathe, following drawings and GD&T.

You will study orders, blueprints, and specifications, set up machining parameters, and perform inspections with SPC charts to ensure quality.

Studies work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters; interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T). Checks SPC charts for frequency of checks, gauging and measurements.. A Support 3 requires broad knowledge of operational procedures and tools obtained through extensive work experience and may require vocational or technical education. Responsibilities typically include: Works under limited supervision for routine situations.. Provides assistance and training to lower level employees..
