Job summary

Exemplar Global is seeking a Senior Compliance Leader to oversee the Compliance Management System for indirect consumer lending operations. You will partner with senior management to set and enforce policies, conduct risk assessments, and drive training on compliance and ethics.

You will coordinate state regulatory examinations, licensing activities, and remediation efforts while reporting key risk indicators to the Board. The role requires strong communication and leadership across departments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years direct work experience in consumer lending compliance management or related field.
• Experience leading state regulatory examinations.
• Strong written and verbal communication with senior management and Board.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a risk-based Compliance Management System for indirect consumer lending operations.
• Lead policy development, monitoring, testing, and training on compliance and ethics.
• Serve as primary compliance contact for state regulators, examiners, and capital markets partners.
• Manage licensing (NMLS where applicable), regulatory examinations, and corrective actions.
• Oversee third-party risk management, due diligence, and licensing verification.
• Provide compliance reporting to CEO and Board with risk indicators and testing results.
