Job summary

Taylor Root is seeking a Principal to head compliance for a leading global asset manager's direct lending platform and BDC. You will partner with the investment team during live deals, owning end-to-end compliance oversight and policy evolution as private credit regulation shifts.

The role requires 10+ years in senior compliance with private credit, strong Investment Advisers Act and Investment Company Act knowledge, and the ability to provide independent guidance across high-volume,

Qualifications

• 10+ years of senior compliance experience in private credit, direct lending or BDCs.
• Deep knowledge of the Investment Advisers Act and the Investment Company Act of 1940.
• Ability to provide independent guidance to senior deal professionals.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end compliance oversight for the direct lending platform and the BDC.
• Advise investment team in real time on conflicts of interest with workable solutions.
• Review IC materials, deal docs and credit agreements for policy and regulatory alignment.
• Lead the BDC compliance program, including 38a-1 reviews, board reporting and policies.
