Job summary

Origin Staffing is assisting in the search for a Compliance Director – Private Equity (Credit Investment Funds) responsible for the design, implementation and ongoing management of a sophisticated private credit compliance program.

The role sits close to investment activity, advising on co-investments, affiliated transactions, and regulatory considerations while reporting to senior leadership and the board.

Qualifications

• Meaningful experience designing or supporting Rule 38a-1 programs.
• Strong command of the Investment Company Act and governance requirements.
• Experience presenting to boards and advising investment professionals.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and annual review of the 38a-1 compliance program for the BDC complex.
• Advise portfolio managers on live transactions and related considerations, including co-investment activity and affiliated transactions.
• Prepare and present board materials; oversee service providers and outside counsel; strengthen policies and testing.
• Drive program enhancements and maintain regulatory readiness in a fast-moving environment.
