Job summary

Trustmark Bank is seeking a Senior Auditor in Compliance to support independent audits of consumer compliance across deposit and lending products. The role emphasizes testing design and effectiveness of controls, regulatory research, and clear reporting to management.

You will contribute to the annual audit plan, partner with cross-functional teams, and help develop newer staff while maintaining high-quality walkthroughs and findings documentation.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of audit experience, or prior compliance risk experience in banking.
• Knowledge across banking business and functions.
• Knowledge of bank products and regulatory concepts.
• Strong oral and written communications.
• Strong analytic skills.
• GAAP knowledge and internal controls.
• Project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrations of strong audit skills across planning, fieldwork, and reporting.
• Regulatory research to understand relevant compliance risks.
