Job summary

Fordham University in New York City seeks a Compliance and Audit Operations Manager to lead day-to-day operational, administrative, and technology-enabled functions across compliance and internal audit. The role drives the annual plan, continuous monitoring, and cross-functional coordination to strengthen governance.

The successful candidate will manage systems, data reporting, and stakeholder engagement while leveraging AI-enabled tools and analytics to improve efficiency and decision support,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in legal, compliance, internal audit, or risk management operations, preferably in higher education or regulated environment.
• Experience using workflow automation, dashboards, data visualization, and AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency and support decision-making.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI/Tableau or similar tools.
• Knowledge of Jesuit education goals and commitment to the University's mission.

Responsibilities

• Manage the annual compliance, internal audit, and ERM project calendars with cross-unit coordination.
• Coordinate logistics for audits, including scheduling, document collection, and stakeholder support.
• Supervise resource allocation and escalate competing priorities with Directors via a joint work plan.
• Track corrective actions from audits and investigations with timely reporting.
• Serve as operational liaison among Compliance, ERM, Assurance, and campus departments.
• Administer the GRC platform: data integrity, user access, functionality, and reporting.
• Prepare data outputs for governance reports and executive dashboards.
