Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph.
• Experience in compliance, legal, auditing, oversight, or related work.
• Experience in mission-related areas such as collection, intelligence, or cybersecurity.
• Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, Accounting, or related discipline.
• Must meet combinations: 7 years with Bachelor's, 5 with Master's, 8 with Associate, 10 with no degree.
• Ability to interpret and apply compliance policies, legal authorities and regulations.
• Experience documenting, investigating, and managing compliance incidents.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide compliance support to align activities with laws, directives, regulations, policies, and mission requirements.
• Evaluate internal controls, audit trails, and compliance processes periodically.
• Identify control weaknesses and recommend improvements.
• Monitor compliance status, risks, and clearance gaps to leadership.
• Help establish consistent compliance frameworks across locations.
• Coordinate training and updates to procedures from new requirements.
• Research statutes and assess impact on operations.
• Provide guidance to internal departments on actions, conformance testing, documentation, monitoring requirements.
• Apply critical thinking to make informed compliance determinations.
• Prepare and maintain documentation related to incidents, investigations, reviews, and processes.
• Manage compliance incidents including root cause analysis and corrective action.
• Gather information on legal authorities, obligations, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct compliance examinations using investigations standards and procedures.
• Use risk management to identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks.
• Develop strategies for completing reviews and other activities.
• Maintain relationships with customers, colleagues, mission partners, and other agencies.
• Prepare, edit, and review professional emails, memoranda, minutes, status reports.
• Communicate findings, risks, and requirements clearly.
• Train and mentor new team members.
